Congratulations to Prof. Styliani Avraamidou on receiving the 2026 Young Investigator Award from the Environmental Division of AIChE!

We are delighted to welcome two new members to the group: Danbee Park, a visiting researcher from Korea University, and Jiayang Ren, who joins us as a postdoctoral researcher. Welcome to Madison!

Prof. Styliani Avraamidou and Meng-Lin Tsai attended the 2026 VIFF Community Convening in St. Louis, Missouri, on September 23–24, 2026.

Prof. Styliani Avraamidou gave a presentation at the workshop Future Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Supply Chains: Building Resource Efficiency, Resilience and Circularity, held September 17–18, 2026 in Washington, DC. The workshop brought together leaders from industry, academia, and government to discuss resource efficiency, resilience, and circularity in pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply chains.

Prof. Styliani Avraamidou attended FIPSE-7, the 7th conference on Future Innovation in Process Systems Engineering, held July 6–8, 2026 in Thessaloniki, Greece.
