ABOUT ME

I am a senior undergraduate student from Milwaukee, WI, studying Chemical Engineering with a certificate in Energy Sustainability. I am currently the Co-President of the UW’s Student Chapter of American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Outside of classes, I have industry experience with working on continuous improvement for enhanced safety and efficiency of a plant. In my free time, I enjoy reading, painting, traveling to new places and being in nature.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

I am interested in the ways that batteries can be optimized to improve integrating them into the grid. I have researched into the development of sodium-ion batteries with a focus on electrolytes’ effect on durability. I also have worked to create a device to help to quickly cycle through batteries to create the most optimal electrolyte for durability. In Avraamidou’s lab I am applying the previous research I have done to create a life cycle analysis on these batteries.
