ABOUT ME

Raj is originally from the city of Pune, India. He has completed his Bachelors-Masters dual degree in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT). At ICT, his work focused on the mathematical modeling of industrial crystallization process using population balance equations. In fall 2024, he joined the Chemical Engineering department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a PhD student and later joined the Avraamidou research group. Besides this, he likes to read books (especially fictions and mystery), hike, exercise and play video games (he is a big fan of Halo, Call of Duty, Warhammer, and Witcher).

RESEARCH INTERESTS

His research interests include application of various mathematical and computational tools to solve engineering problems.
