ABOUT ME
I am a proud Badger sophomore, double-majoring in Chemical Engineering & Chemistry! I am an Undergraduate Research Scholar (URS) with the Avraamidou Research Group. I am also involved in teaching UW-Madison students as a General Chemistry Lab Assistant and as a GUTS Chemistry & Math Drop-In tutor. Outside of academia, I am an avid pianist! I have played western-classical piano for 11 years (and counting), and I have earned an Associate of the Royal Schools of Music (ARSM) Diploma. I enjoy long-distance biking and doing exercise on ellipticals. I also really love following my beloved Badgers Athletics!
RESEARCH INTERESTS
I am interested in any Chemical Engineering or Chemistry related research topics. I have previously done a research project investigating the basic physical properties of the trans-uranium and trans-actinide elements. Working with the Avraamidou Research Group, my work focuses on the Modeling and Optimization of Renewable Energy Supply Chains, and I research in-depth on Energy Storage. I look at a supply chain and attempt to formulate mathematical models using a variety of software tools to develop the optimal route(s) of a chemical process under different scenarios. I try to insert renewable energy technologies into the existing supply chain while also considering economic, environmental, and social factors.
